Religious Education
At St. David's we strive to ensure that the school is Christ centred, where our pupils can learn, grow and develop in faith through the Gospel values.
We live out our mission statement 'Learning. Loving, Laughing. Following in the footsteps of Jesus', encompassing strong links between Parish, home and school.
As part of our RE curriculum, we follow the Come and See scheme, a Catholic Primary Religious Education programme. The Catechism of the Catholic Church addresses the search for meaning in life. God’s initiative in Revelation who comes to meet us and our response of faith. (cf. CCC26) This pattern guides the structure of the programme and informs the process of each topic, opened up through; Explore, Reveal and Respond.
Each year group has their own topics, which are listed below.
Below you will find an RE family newsletter, which provides information on each year's class topic and ways to support at home.
